Simba Serengeti Lodge
Serengeti Simba Lodge is named after the lion (simba in Swahili) – king of the jungle, a symbol of strength, pride and royalty. We welcome you to explore, experience and enjoy the African wilderness and the amazing Serengeti as a guest at Serengeti Simba Lodge. Harmoniously nestled into the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem, set high on the Gambasage hill overlooking the famous Grumeti River, Serengeti Simba Lodge is situated on the main path of the annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra. With awe-inspiring panoramic views of the vast savannah, Serengeti Simba Lodge is home to prolific birdlife and a stunning array of large game including: lion, buffalo, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, elephant, bush buck, zebra, gazelle, topi and wildebeest. The vast wildebeest migration passes through the area twice a year on the annual trek through the Serengeti eco-system. Located just outside the Fort Ikoma gate of Serengeti National Park, Serengeti Simba Lodge is accessible by road from Arusha (approximately 7 hours driving time) which is in turn linked to Dar es Salaam and Nairobi.
